Our base service is proofreading, which in a nutshell means making sure your documents are error-free.
Our aim is to get rid of any spelling mistakes and grammatical anomalies in your work. We will not re-write your documents, but we will polish them to ensure they’re ready for their intended audience. We will also ensure formatting is consistent both within and across your documents, to give them a professional feel to the reader.
In the main, our clients submit a complete version of their document as an MS Word file. We then supply the client with two documents:
- An annotated version of the document with all changes marked as tracked changes.
- A “clean” version of the document, all changes having been accepted.
Some clients prefer that we work on paper. In these circumstances, we use industry-standard proofreading symbols to annotate a paper copy of the document.
Our price for this service ranges from £20 to £25 per thousand words supplied, depending on the nature of the document.
