Nasty pieces of work, yes. But they are only individuals. Are you sure they are an indictment of modern Britain? It strikes me as a bold generalisation...in the same way that racism is.
You could easily argue that modern Britain is as racism-free as it has ever been. This is not an attack, but I'm not sure that Jade speaks for anyone else, especially when she can barely speak for herself.

i reckon that Jade and her mum are totally suffering the "tall poppy" complex ...ie. Shilpa is the tall poppy cos (and I quote) "in India when i walk into a room everyone stands up"
now thats a frickin wierd way to live...being so idolised. therefore she will have a skewed view of the world.
they were being racist in their obvious bullying tactics though...so cast jade and all the other chav slags back into the council estate...where they belong! ha h hahahahah (evil laugh)
