As Annie once said...

The sun'll come out tomorrow - that's what they said on yesterday's weather, and sure enough, here it is.  Three days of relentless rain has been replaced by glorious sunshine.  Let's hope it stays that way.

Jetlag has had a greater toll on us this time - probably because we weren't obliged to go out on our first night and make the most of the limited time we had on our hands.

Had a fun trip out to Jersey City yesterday, where the PATH train from WTC station skirts right around the levelled area of Ground Zero.  You really get to feel the enormity of the clearance task that they've been doing for the last few years.  Two minutes later you're in Jersey City, which is a cross between Toronto, Boston and Canary Wharf.

Pomodoro pizza collected in the evening for a TV dinner - the weather was so atrocious it just wasn't worth going out.

Got a bit fed up last night of holding the laptop up in the room in order to get a weak signal on someone else's wireless network, so I've ventured out into the big wide world (Starbucks) this am to invest in $6's worth of time on the T-Mobile hotspot.  Connection is great - still can't get over these wireless shenanigans.  Look no wires - just how does it work?

Off to try and find some longer term accommodation than the Holiday Inn this morning, which will be all the more enjoyable now that we have sun.  Then off out with Jodi and Paloma this evening for some dinner.
