Ah - Microsoft's on going campaign to ensure any windows installation take 40 minutes, irespective of computing power or storage space.

Seriously though, considering they've cut most of the good stuff that is a seriously bloated OS. I assume a lot of it will be aero specific and the massive driver base that still won't manage to support anything useful.

Get over it Dan, if you don't have the 15Gb space you are hardly likely to have 2Gb RAM or the 256Mb GPU that Aero needs to 'run smoothly'. Don't forget what a joke running XP on 'minimum hardware' is!

So, if you don't like this, boot up OSx on your Intel box.

P.S. Just went to apple.com to see what they are calling OSx these days (OS/X? osX? etc?) and it crashed Firefox (thanks to the QT movie on the front page me thinks). Sadly I can't visit apple.com to see if there is a fix for QT!

15GB = 3 quid (5million dollars) - prob 2.50 before it's released - get over it
