Cohen vs. Cohen
There's been lots of hype in the US over the American figure skater Sasha Cohen, who earned a silver medal behind Shizuka Arakawa today. All week, I've wondered why I knew the name, despite being far from an avid follower of the sport, and tonight it finally clicked. Although I made the mistake, she is not to be confused with Sacha Baron Cohen, the talent behind Ali G.
I'd like to see S. B. Cohen interviewing S. Cohen along with the accompanying confusion.
Keeping up with the trend of US athletes making mistakes, Sasha Cohen fell twice in her program and had to settle for silver.
Although we Americans sometimes (most times)like to shoot off our mouths, I would like to make a comparison (for the record) b/w US medals vs GB medals.
Based on population statistics, I beleive the ratio should be 4 to 1, not 20 to 1. Your the maths major....figure it out.
I must also add that anyone with the last name Cohen is extremely gifted, funny, good-looking, talented, generous.....
Your math(s) and English are both atrocious.
- I before E except after C: believe, not beleive
- As Ross once said. "Your" means "your"; "you're" means "you are"
- UK population is around 60m; American population around 300m. Surely it should be 5 to 1
As for being "funny, good-looking", maybe you mean "good, funny-looking"
Pls add spell check and grammar check to your circa 1962 BLOG...
What was the GB medal count? A prime number I believe!!!
No - 1. 1 is not prime.
Prime numbers are numbers greater than or equal to 2 that are divisible only by one or themselves.
Or else, positive integers that have exactly two positive integer factors.
Keep up!!!
Who do you think "US Gold Medalist" and "Cohen Clan Member" are?
