New words

Two new words that I've come across over the last few days: summarisation (or probably summarization) and oversudsing.  The first of these means "summary".  "In summarisation, this word is longer than it needs to be."  Not sure why summary is deemed inappropriate.  The latter refers to the adverse consequences of using of too much detergent in the washing machine.  "To prevent oversudsing, only use a quarter of a cup of detergent."

Two countries, divided by a common language...

Personaly I cringe every time I here the word 'dove', used as the past tense of dive. I realise that this is a word that I come across a lot more than most but that's not the point. This I find ludicrous as not only is it already the word for a pigeon like bird but if that kind of thing were to continue we'd be saying 'love' for the past tense of live.
