Some articles worthy of note

It's good that the location of Bin Laden has finally been established. Porter Goss (brother of Matt and Luke, I believe), the head of the CIA says that he has an "excellent idea" of where he's hiding. That's good to know. Perhaps there should be a Where's Waldo? style book published called Where's Osama?

Meanwhile, take a read of the Observer's wonderful interview of Noel Gallagher conducted by David Walliams. The reason for Liam's despise of Peter Kay (towards the end) is reason in itself to read the interview.

Don't you think this is a little weird? If you're the Secret Service and you really know where someone is, don't you just go hoik them out rather than announce to the international media that you have an excellent idea where they are? If you do snatch him, Pakistan won't officially complain about it because he's an international criminal and they want your $. In reality, the comment tends to suggest either (a) you have a general idea and hope that by announcing the news you can flush him out to somewhere else. But you must know that Bin Laden's too shrewd for that old chestnut. So you're left with (b) a puff piece responding to criticism that you can't find by effectively saying "Oh, yes we can, but it's someone else's fault that we can't get to him". It stinks.
