The next stop is Merthyr Tydfil. Mind the gap

Tonight, aboard an eastbound District Line train from Embankment, I couldn't help noticing a man studying meticulously an Ordnance Survey map, in the right-hand corner of which sat Merthyr Tydfil. I couldn't help but think that he'd have been better off with a standard-issue Tube map.

Hello - I was doing a random search on a completely different subject when when your blog popped up. Funny thing...my great great great Grandfather William Alexander Davies was from Merthyr.

In the states he was a very accomplished Welsh Bard. He was born on the east bank of the taft river. my great x 4 grandfather was a minister. Someday I hope to venture across the pond to visit.

See if anyone recognizes the Davies Name from antiquity. Have fun-Seth

Hi Seth. Welcome. Hope you come back to enjoy more of the same. This side is good; you should try and pop across!

Dan.
