Can I apologise deeply to all those who read my blog who find it a little dull. Mr. Creutzberg has suggested that it lacks topics of interest, and this is something that I will try and address moving forward. If necessary, I may make things up (I met up with Woody Allen and had lunch with Sarah-Jessica Parker yesterday).
We went for a run this morning in the Riverside Park on the banks of the Hudson. Under-rated park, with some great views and a calming atmosphere. However, it seems the Upper West Side is dogsville. Every other person (maybe even more than that) has a dog; or two. America recently achieved the enviable target of having more cars than people, and I'm sure in the Upper West Side, dogs out-number humans.
I know I've already mentioned this, but the UWS has a great feel to it, one that I've never experienced in my ten-ish trips here. It's still got the buzz of Manhattan, but also has a laid-back feel which I could really get used to.
Just heard Jessica Simpson's "rendition" of Angels. Possibly one of the worst covers known to man.
